We are a dynamic local authority providing essential services to the people of Gloucester.

We are looking for an outstanding individual with vast experience in enforcement and regulation to lead this dynamic and high profile service through its exciting development.
Having recently brought Private Sector Housing, Envirocrime and Planning Enforcement into one team, the Council is keen to continue the success we have seen in working holistically across a range of regulatory services.
As a key area of focus in our Council plan, this is an excellent opportunity to lead, develop your team and delivery positive outcomes for the public.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be dynamic and proactive, and have an excellent grip on legislation, as well as being a team player who can develop the team and grow the positive impact the service can have.

Regulation and Enforcement Manager Job Description
The council is not currently able to offer sponsorship in this role. Candidates will need to have right to work that enables them to commit to at least 6 months employment. Right to work is not transferable from a sponsored role held with another employer.
