About the Role

Do you want to join a busy organisation and multifaceted housing services team dedicated to helping those in housing need?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Team Leader to join our Housing Services Team, focusing on Part VI of the Housing Act, overseeing our Choice Based Lettings (CBL) system, however also with a working knowledge of Part VII of the Housing Act. To supervise the day-to-day operational service delivery of the team and be able to maintain a high level of technical and professional competence in relation to the functions of the team, provide direction, advice, guidance, and support to team members in the delivery of services. Also, to support the Housing Operational Lead and to deputise from time to time.

 

What we need from you

We are seeking an individual who ideally has experience of working at a professional level, demonstrating competency of the Housing & Homelessness Act and have an understanding of the current issues the housing sector is facing. Experience of successfully leading on projects. managing a team and coping well under pressure & dealing with difficult situations.

 

You will have excellent communication and customer-care skills and the ability to work flexibly, as part of a busy team.
