About the role

 

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at the Museum of Gloucester. This role will work 15 hours per week, predominantly Wednesday to Saturday, 09:00–12:00. There may also be occasional requirements to work on Mondays and Tuesdays, as needed.

 

This is a fixed term contract last 12 - 18 months. 

 

You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the museum, ensuring the venue is consistently welcoming, safe and presentable for visitors and staff.

 

 

What we need from you

 

You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness across museum galleries, exhibitions, public areas and staff facilities, including toilets and offices.

 

Duties will include waste management, monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies in liaison with the Operations Team Leader, and promptly reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. 

 

You will work in line with health and safety policies and COSHH regulations at all times. 

 

You will be able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to maintaining high standards.
