Are you an experienced events professional with a passion for outdoor festivals and cultural programming? Do you have the drive to deliver high-quality, successful events while leading a dynamic team? Join Gloucester City Council as a Senior Festivals and Events Officer and play a pivotal role in shaping the city’s cultural landscape.
About the Role
As the Senior Festivals and Events Officer, you will lead a small team to deliver the city’s flagship outdoor events including Gloucester Goes Retro and Bright Nights. The team also supports, develops and enables third party events on our outdoor sites. You will be responsible for delivering funding and commissioning opportunities for creative projects across Gloucester. You will work closely with the Cultural Development Manager to develop and deliver strategies and support the city’s cultural vision.

You will be a creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to develop new ideas and build successful partnerships.You will have a passion for the cultural development of Gloucester. Someone with a forward-thinking approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.You will hold an event safety qualification or be willing to undertake one.
