We are a dynamic local authority providing essential services to the people of Gloucester and we are the host authority for this Gloucestershire wide post. Our main office, based in the Eastgate Centre on Eastgate Street in the heart of the city, is an accessible, modern and light space designed for collaborative working and finding new ways to work. It's all open plan, with a living green wall and other plants without set desks, so you can sit next to someone new every day.  We're always looking to improve how we work and we offer flexible and agile working to give our people a great work life balance. You would be welcome to base yourself in the Gloucester Offices whenever needed, but there is a need for you to work from other partner locations across the county.

 

About the role…

Gloucestershire Housing Partnership Team is a diverse team of dedicated individuals who work across the County to support and manage work around Domestic Abuse, International Resettlement and Rough Sleeping. They work closely with a range of partners and stakeholders to ensure high quality services and contracts that meet the needs of the client group.

 

Flexible and agile working is available through employment by Gloucester City Council , although you will be working for all of the Gloucestershire Districts, the County Council and other partners such as Health and the OPCC. In order to build strong relationships with all of these partners the post holder will work from a variety of locations across Gloucestershire on a monthly basis.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to lead the team. This is challenging but rewarding work due to the variety of work and the involvement of a number of partners from across the public sector.
