Welcoming you to Gloucester City Council

Work for a better Gloucester – Help us transform your city

It’s an exciting time to join Gloucester City Council as we move forward with our ambitious plans for the city. We’re working on multi-million pound regeneration schemes that will transform the city centre, driving cultural change with a varied programme of festivals and events and making the most of our wonderful history and heritage. We are passionate about our city and making Gloucester a vibrant and dynamic city to live, work and visit.

Looking ahead we’re serious about promoting Gloucester as a tourist destination and a cultural hotspot and we need talented people working with us to help make this happen. And we’re serious about our commitment to the environment too with a plan to make the council carbon neutral by 2030 and the wider city carbon neutral by 2050.

As a organisation not only are we progressive and innovative but we also offer a supportive environment for our staff where they are encouraged to shine and make the most of their unique talents.

If you can match our ambitions and share our motivation to improve our city to work for better communities, we would love to hear from you.
