We are seeking an experienced administrator to come and join our friendly Day Services team in the Beeches Day Centre!

 


About the role:

We are looking for a part-time Business Support Assistant to join our Day Services Team in the Beeches Day Centre. The contract is 24 hours per week, minimum 4 days in the office.

 

As a Business Support Assistant, you will deliver an efficient administration function within the service area. You will work as an integral member of the team to ensure effective, consistent, and essential support standards. This will include but is not limited to:

  • maintaining the reception function by answering and directing phone calls and taking messages, and assisting visitors, so a professional telephone manner is a must;
  • undertaking financial accounting tasks, such as: processing invoices, managing the day-to-day administration operation of the amenity fund, undertaking banking as required;
  • maintaining accurate databases;
  • scheduling meetings, as well as taking minutes of meetings;
  • responding to, redirecting emails and managing a generic mailbox;
  • writing newsletter and communications for the day centre.

About you:

 

You will have strong communication and organisational skills. Ideally you will have some experience of working in a busy office environment. You will have good IT skills and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
