National Graduate Development Scheme
We are looking for the next generation of managers to lead critical projects and services that have tangible, everyday outcomes for people's lives.
The National Graduate Development Scheme (NGDP) is a two year national management trainee programme for graduates with the potential to become senior managerial leaders in local government. Many of Gloucestershire’s graduates have secured jobs at the council once they have completed the two year programme.
The programme involves undertaking at least three structured work placements, learning and development delivered both by e-learning and in the classroom, and the completion of ILM Level 7 in leadership and management.
The programme offers the chance to work directly with communities, but also to influence policies and plans at a senior level. All while earning a graduate salary and completing our council-specific leadership and management qualification.
