About the team and the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Service Manager to work in our Employment and Skills Hub to support the coordination and development of skills initiatives and stakeholder relationships.

Working with other Employment and Skills Hub Service Managers they will influence and lead strategic and operational developments, ensuring the join up of skills and employment support, helping residents to develop skills that meet the needs of the local labour market.

Employment and Skills is a busy space with a number of new developments both nationally and locally which can positively impact on Gloucestershire's local workforce and economy.  This post offers the opportunity to work with key stakeholders across  health, education, skills and employment to promote positive outcomes for local residents and employers.

About You

You will have demonstrable experience of managing at a senior level, including performance management and experience of working within the Skills sector with a good knowledge of local and national policy/strategy. 

You will be passionate about working with others to develop new intiatives and sustainable outcomes and be able to manage a diverse workload.
