This is a chance to deliver high quality internal audit assurance across a diverse range of activities and services within our Audit, Risk and Assurance Shared Service (ARA) partner organisations.


We are looking to recruit a Senior Auditor who is self motivated with a positive, flexible approach and willingness to contribute towards our excellent reputation for providing respected audit, risk and assurance activity.


The role would give you the opportunity to make a real difference by providing advice and assistance to senior managers and making recommendations to improve governance, risk management and control frameworks. You will be naturally inquisitive, you can think laterally and creatively research and analyse problems and use your judgement to present balanced findings and persuasive recommendations for improvement. As an innovative individual you will demonstrate excellent team working skills, be personally resilient and be able to build positive business relationships.


The successful candidate will have knowledge, skills or experience in internal audit and risk management. You will also have a genuine interest in developing a career in Internal Audit.


Experience of Internal Audit in Local Government will be an advantage.
