About the Team & Role 

 

The SEND Quality and Engagement Team performs an exciting and important role in helping ensure that engagement and co-production is at the heart of our local offer of services for children, young people with SEND and their families in Gloucestershire.  

 

 

About You 

 

If you are someone with a passion for communication and collaboration (co-production), who values hearing from parent carers and young people with SEND and working with different people to develop information that is helpful, relevant and easy to follow then this might be the role for you!  

As a SEND Engagement and Information Development Officer, you will enjoy working with people, be creative and with a talent for digital communication and providing information that engages and makes a difference to families with SEND.  

This will be achieved through a variety of direct engagement, content creation and development of information resources, such as annual surveys, monthly publications of the Families in Partnership Newsletter, social media, annual reporting of ‘you said, we did’ Glosfamilies Directory | Have Your Say and the quality assurance process of the Local Offer.  

 

This role is central to the Quality, Engagement and Co-production Service, working on behalf of Gloucestershire's Local Area Partnership in collaboration with parent carers and teams within Gloucestershire County Council, Education providers, Health and the Voluntary and Community sector.
