About the team and Role

 

Come and join our enthusiastic Street Works Team·

 

We have a legalisative duty for managing and co-ordinating all works on our highway network. We monitor compliance with Street Works Legalisation and can issue financial penalties for any failures to comply.The Traffic Management Assistant will assist the  Streetworks Coordination and Compliance Teams in all aspects of Streetworks management. The team are dedicated and hard working and we have a great team spirit.

 

About You

 

To be successful you will need excellent organisational skills to allow you to prioritise workloads and ensure our service levels are maintained. We also need a customer-focused nature to help build working relationships with our stakeholders. You’ll need good IT skills for analysing and reporting data to ensure the administrative output is accurate and completed in a timely manner. We're looking for someone with excellent writing and numeracy skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer), adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, a solid academic background with five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including Mathematics and English).
