About the team & role:

Gloucestershire County Council is looking to recruit a Traffic Management Assistant, you will be joining a dynamic team that delivers Streetworks management for the businesses and residents of the area.

 

You will be working within Streetworks Team who manage and control roadspace booking for all works promoters and management of utility excavations throughout the county. The team has three distinct work areas, Roadspace booking, Inspection and Compliance.

 

As a Traffic Management Assistant you will be required provide technical support to the team of coordinators and inspectors. You will also be responsible for providing reports and statistical information to help give a clear picture of how works promoters are performing.

 

About you:

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to build relationships with people at all levels within the council, the public and contractors.

 

You will play a vital role in keeping the traffic moving and the public safe throughout our county. The role will involve a mixture of office and possibly some site work, a full driving licence is essential.
