About the Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Transport Planning team at Gloucestershire County Council. This is a part-time, permanant position totalling 18.5 hours per week. You will, with the other part time Team Leader, lead the Transport Planning team of professionals. Current major projects include M5 Junction 10, M5 Junction 9 / A46, Mass Rapid Transit, completion of the 26 mile cycle spine and various other public transport, active travel and highways improvements.

 

About You

You will assist in the County Council's journey towards net zero, implementing an emissions reduction pathway with a programme of work to reduce the impact of transport on climate change. You will also deal with the review of the adopted Gloucestershire Local Transport Plan and manage the significant budget of the team.
