About the team and the role

Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub provides a central source of information and support for residents and businesses.  We help residents access learning and work opportunities and support employers to get the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles.  We are a team of dedicated professionals who thrive on helping people to achieve their learning and employment aspirations.   

As a Team Leader you will manage a team of Employer Advisers and Employment Specialists delivering supported employment provision to customers of the E&S Hub.   You will develop and maintain relationships with employers to support the delivery of the E&S Hub provision within communities across Gloucestershire. 

 

About You

You will have experience of managing a team including performance management and a focus on achieving outcomes. Your communication skills will provide you with the ability to develop a range of close links with employers and partners, including other GCC teams and welfare to work providers, with the aim of increasing skills base, knowledge and the opportunities available. 

You must be customer focused and ideally have knowledge of employment policies, procedures and welfare services including the ability to develop your understanding of local labour-market demographics; enabling you to work with local employers to match their needs to the abilities of individuals.

You must hold a full UK driving licence as you will be required to travel around the county.
