About the Team and Role

We are looking to recruit a 30 hour per week, team administrator to support the Central Services Business Support Team within Children’s Services.  This team is made up of 3 areas, Finance, Resource and Business Improvement.  This role will be predominantly support Resource and Business Improvement, although some support around finance may also be required.  The hours can be spread over 4 or 5 days but must include a Monday.

 

Your role will include taking accountability for monitoring and managing the allocation of IT assets, producing reports based on this and overseeing communications within the service through methods such as TV screens (Magic Screens), websites and newsletters.  You will also provide admin support to business improvement projects around digital and case management systems. 

 

Duties will include:-

  • Ordering and issuing IT kit for all new starters
  • Ensure leavers kit is returned
  • Tracking and monitoring all IT kit
  • Ensure new starters have access to programmes required and are added to relevant hunt groups
  • Production of reports
  • Monitor and update central lists, e.g. distribution lists and staffing lists
  • Update and review Magic Screens
  • Have oversight of communications, websites and newsletters
  • Admin support to projects
  • Provide admin support to all areas of Central Business Support Team
