About the team and the role
Come and work for a rewarding organisation, joining our exceptional talent in the Environment and Waste team who are working to improve sustainability within Gloucestershire by addressing our climate emergency. You will provide support across the team taking responsibility for delivering targeted carbon emissions reduction across a wide range of topics. This will include developing internal and external engagement programmes at both a strategic and tactical level, supporting GCC, businesses and individuals with their decarbonisation plans and waste reduction activities.
About you
To be successful you will be passionate and knowledgeable about the climate crisis. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders at different stages of their carbon journey. You will be able to conceive, develop and lead on campaigns and programmes of change and take ownership of associated output and outcomes.
