About the team & role:

 

Gloucestershire County Council is looking to recruit a Streetworks Inspector, you will be joining a dynamic team that delivers Streetworks management for the businesses and residents of the County.

 

You will be working within Streetworks Team who manage and control roadspace booking and management of utility excavations throughout the county. The team has three distinct work areas, Roadspace booking, Inspection and Compliance.

 

As a Streetworks Inspector you will be required inspect utility works both during the delivery of the works and after the work is completed. You will be responsible for all sample and defect inspections within that area, the team also manage site inspections with contractors, so dispute resolution skills are essential.

 

About you:

 

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to build relationships with people at all levels within the council, the public and contractors. Taking responsibility for the streetworks inspections within a defined area

You will play a vital role in keeping the traffic moving and the public safe throughout our county. The role will involve a mixture of office and site work, a full driving licence is essential.
