About the team and the role
Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub offers a one-stop source of information, advice, guidance and support around employment and skills. Working with a range of partners and employers in localities across Gloucestershire the Hub delivers 1:1 support through a number of programmes for people with barriers to sustaining or retaining work, as well as advice and signposting for any resident looking for help.
We are looking for an experienced person to manage the delivery of our new Connect to Work supported employment programme which will support 2,900 people over the next 4 1/2 years. You must be passionate about making a difference and be committed to driving excellence, providing a high quality service to participants.
As a strong performance manager, you will be part of a team that is vibrant and diverse, so a passion for inclusive employment will be essential. This is an exciting role, and your opportunity to have a substantial influence on the shape and delivery of a ground-breaking new programme.
About You
You will have demonstrable experience of managing at a senior level, including performance management. Experience working within a diverse team, lived experience, or with people who have disabilities, health conditions or other barriers to employment will be essential, along with the passion to influence change. Experience of working within the employability or health sectors will be an advantage, but not essential. You will have the ability to interpret guidance to develop systems and processes and be able to analyse data.
