About the Team & Role

We are seeking to recruit sessional clerks to attend hearings to support and advise school appeal panels.  You will be working as part of the Democratic Services Team within the County Council on a casual basis, as and when required.. You will be supporting independent panel members, writing notes and producing decision letters.

You are likely to be required on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year, but on a more regular basis through May - July.  Hearings are conducted virtually on Teams.

 

About you

To be successful you will need excellent communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to work to challenging deadlines. Ideally you will have experience in clerking meetings or minute/note taking. You will be able to cope and function effectively when working in a pressurised and changing environment.
