About the role:

We have a full time Rehabilitation Services Coordinator opportunity in a multi-disciplinary team within our Rehabilitation Services. Our centre at Great Western Court, in Gloucester, is designed to support individuals with all aspects of their rehabilitation and care programs following either a discharge from hospital or admittance from the community. We provide 24-hour care for planned, unplanned and emergency stays. In this highly rewarding role, you’ll create a positive, caring and stimulating environment that meets every resident’s needs.

The goal is to make sure residents enjoy fulfilling and dignified lives – and you will play a big part in that. Guided by care plans and risk assessments, you will help them with personal care and medication, leading shifts as the Officer in Charge and supervising Rehabilitation Services Support Workers. Our residents will be relying on you to give your best, so we’ll make sure you get expert support and training.

About you:
 

You will have a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent, or experience) in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it. You will administer medication and support individuals by following therapy-led rehab goals. Practical and positive, you’ll manage your own workload and work as part of a team. With every opportunity to learn, you’ll also be keen to develop and take our service from strength to strength.

You’ll join us on a shift basis, which will include every other weekend and sleep in duties as required. You will be eligible to claim for enhanced payments for working evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
