About the role:

 

We are looking for a part time Business Support Assistant who enjoys working with others and supporting a team to join us within our Rehabilitation Service at Great Western Court, in Gloucester. Working hours will be flexible and can be discussed in further detail at interview. 

 

Our centre provides 24-hour care for planned, unplanned and emergency stays for people who have been discharged from hospital or admitted from the community. You will be an important member of our team, providing administration support to our frontline staff and being a welcoming and helpful face to the people who use our service, their families and carers.

 

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing enquiries, maintaining the reception area and assisting with stock orders and maintenance issues
  • Handling financial tasks such as processing invoices and managing petty cash
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Building relationships with service users, families, carers, and professionals

 

Great Western Court is conveniently located in central Gloucester, offering free parking and easy access by public transport. It's just a 13-minute walk (0.6 miles) from Gloucester train station and bus station. You can also hop on bus routes 1, 2, or 2a, which stop a short 5-minute walk away.

About you:

 

You will have strong communication skills, written and verbal, with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. Ideally you will have some experience of working in an office and working as part of a team. You will have good IT skills and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
