We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance and Practice Manager to join our renowned Social Work Academy on a 1 year FTC.

About the role
As a member of this dynamic and driven leadership team, you will be part of delivering the vision of Gloucestershire’s Social Work Academy.
As the Quality Assurance and Advanced Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of our Quality Assurance Framework, comprising a combination of audits, dip samples, observations and practice weeks. This will include the development of practitioners and leaders involved in quality assurance and improvement activity. You will offer leadership in translating learning from the evaluation of practice into the priorities of Quality Improvement and how this can be developed through the Academy and wider service. You will oversee the evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of the Academy learning and development offer, to support its continuous improvement.
About you
As well as your extensive experience of working and leading within statutory services for children, young people and families you will need:
- a recognised Social Work qualification
- registration with Social Work England
- Post-Qualifying Award in Social Work (or Systemic Supervision) or willingness to undertake this
- Leadership & Management qualification or willingness to work towards
- ability to satisfactorily pass DBS requirements
