About The Team
This role sits within the Data and Intelligence Strategy Team, this is a team of dedicated programme and project managers focussed on delivering the Data & Intelligence Strategy. It sits within the wider Planning, Performance and Insights Service working closely with colleagues in the Data, Analysis & Insights and Performance & Improvement Teams. Due to the nature of the work, you will also collaborate closely with corporate change colleagues in the Transformation Team to ensure strong alignment with the corporate change management function.
About the role
We’re looking for a full time Project Manager - Data Strategy Implementation, on a fixed term 12 month contract.
As a Project Manager for Data Strategy Implementation, you will play a pivotal role in turning our strategy into reality. You will work closely with colleagues across Planning, Performance and Insights as well as key stakeholders from across whole council who support us to deliver the strategy. In this role, you will manage key cultural, behavioural, and implementation activities that support successful adoption of the strategy across the organisation. This includes driving initiatives such as managing culture change projects (including our data champion network), benefits tracking and delivering the rollout of strategic deliverables such as the Data Quality Framework.
About You
You will bring experience of delivering data and intelligence related change projects, with the confidence to engage and influence colleagues at all levels. A proactive and organised communicator, you can manage the delivery of one or more projects at pace -coordinating stakeholders, producing clear project documentation, and developing supporting materials that enable effective implementation.
You will be comfortable developing training and adoption plans and ensuring that changes are understood, owned, and embedded across the council. Self motivated and adaptable, you thrive in collaborative environments and work effectively across teams and services to drive positive cultural and operational change.
