About The Team & Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Corporate Fleet Unit within Gloucestershire County Council. This is a full-time permanent position which offers a varied role and will include tasks such as providing project management support with a hands-on approach on many new Fleet vehicle and equipment projects, such as specialist blue light Fire & Rescue, County Council fleet, electric vehicles, ChargePoints across County Council sites, Fleet Systems, Workshops and more.

 

About You

The postholder will require good interpersonal skills in addition to analytical skills, i.e. the ability to analyse complex data, process it, and create solutions.  Working collaboratively with other staff across Gloucestershire County Council & Fire, they must be able to understand fleet, including maintenance, legislation, fleet systems and have a hands-on approach to the projects.  The postholder would also have experience of managing people.
