About the team and role
Being part of the Request Management you will be joining a busy team working to statutory deadlines You will benefit from a supportive, inclusive work environment, where you'll be encouraged to shine and make the most of your talents. Within the role you will line manage Information Request Officers providing them with your knowledge and expertise on Freedom of Information, Data Protection and disclosure requests.
About you
We are looking for a customer focused individual who has good problem solving skills and an organised and effective approach to tasks. This will require the ability to absorb complex information quickly on all types of requests to ensure good governance in all cases. You will need good communication skills and the ability to develop effective relationships across the Council and with key stakeholders.
