About The Team & Role 

We have an exciting opportunity working within the Post 16 education sector.  This vital post will ensure that quality assurance and monitoring, in line with the commissioning cycle, is embedded across SEND Services and that appropriate processes and policies are in place, underpinned by best practice and child centred approaches.  

 

The role will include quality assurance and monitoring of independent and post 16 provision and identifying new solutions regarding how best to support some of the most complex/vulnerable children/young people in Gloucestershire to access their education entitlement in partnership with education providers. This will be achieved by the development, implementation and review of systems to support children with the highest level of need and promoting holistic working across education, health and social care. 

 

About You 

To be successful you will need excellent organisational skills to allow you to prioritise workloads and ensure our service levels are maintained. We also need your customer-focused nature to help build working relationships with your stakeholders. You’ll also bring your excellent knowledge and experience of the Post 16 Education sector so that you can effectively build relationships with and support our providers to develop their offers.
