About the team and the role

Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub has been created to provide a central source of information and support for residents and businesses. The aim is to help residents access learning and work opportunities, as well help employers get the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles. We are a team of dedicated professionals who thrive on helping people to achieve their learning and employment aspirations.   

As the Inclusive Employment Team Manager for Connect to Work (CtW) you will be supporting the Delivery Manager in launching the new DWP contract CtW, as well as line managing Team Leaders responsible for various areas of work including delivery, and you will be accountable for the performance, quality of work and effective deployment of resources across the team. 

 

About You

You will have experience of managing a diverse team, including performance management and a focus on achieving both quantative and qualitiative outcomes.  You will have experience of working with a range of partners and employers, and the ability to identify opportunities, which will further enhance the customer experience or expand the work of the Hub.

Experience of working with a fidelity model eg: Supported Employment (SEQF) or Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

You must be customer focussed and ideally have knowledge of employment policies, procedures and welfare services; including the ability to develop your understanding of local labour-market demographics; enabling you to work with local employers to match their needs to the abilities of individuals.

You must hold a full UK driving licence as you will be required to travel around the county.
