About The Team & Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the council’s People Services Team as a Human Resources (HR) Support Apprentice. In People Services we support the organisation’s workforce, culture and employee relations. We lead on areas including recruitment, training, policy development, employee relations and change management. You’ll help make a difference as a HR Support Apprentice, by providing administrative and general support within People Services, supporting the full employee life cycle. You will provide support to colleagues and managers on HR legislation and policy and you’ll provide a wide range of administrative and general support to each of the teams in People Services. We will support you to study towards the level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship standard.

 

 

About you

To be successful you will need excellent skills in Microsoft Office, and be confident using Word, Excel and Outlook. You will bring your excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide a wide range of support to colleagues and managers. You will also bring your creative problem-solving skills and have a flexible and adaptable approach to challenges.
