About The Team & Role
Working with the GSCP Business Unit means that you work for the County Council, Police and Health (ICB). As such you will have the opportunity to work with colleague from public sectors and different public buildings.
Our main office, based at Quayside House heart of Gloucester City, is an accessible, modern and light space designed for collaborative working and finding new ways to work. We're always looking to improve how we work and we offer flexible and agile working to give our people a great work life balance.
You will work with safeguarding leads from across the public sector to ensure the children of Gloucestershire are safeguarded. This will mean being present within learning reviews and audits designed to identify learning and recommendations to enhace the provisions for the children and families of Gloucestershire. You will not work directly with children or families. You do not need experience of working within Children's Services.
The Business Unit is a small and extremely dedicated team of professionals who each bring their own experience from across different public services. We are committed to delivering a high-quality, efficient, and responsive service to our partnership colleagues, enabling them to collaborate effectively and provide the best possible outcomes for children and families.
The Business Unit works under the legistration of Working Together to Safeguarding Children and The Children's Act.
