About The Role

Gloucestershire Music is seeking highly skilled and passionate music ensemble tutors to join their contracted team at Brookfield Music Centre.  The music centre runs from Sir Thomas Rich's School, Longlevens, Gloucester, GL2 0LF, on Saturday mornings during term time, over 30 weeks of the academic year. The Centre runs from 9:30am - 12:30pm

 

You will be responsible for the planning, assisting and running of ensembles at Brookfield Music Centre.  Whilst some administrative tasks are required within the role, your primary focus will be on leading high-quality sessions at this music centre, which is aimed at students of all school ages and musical standards, fostering a love for music and helping young people develop their musical interests.

The min/max salary in this advert is the full time equivilent monthly pay rate for the grade associated on the Local Government Scheme pay scale.  This role is term time only, for 30 weeks over each academic year.  For better illustration the rate for this role (including preparation time and annual leave allowance) is £2614.11 - £2953.02 per annum or £217.84 - £246.09 per month (annual pay is spread over 12 months).

 

The number of hours available is 3 hours (with 30 mins preparation time) per week, for 30 weeks a year.
