About The Role
Gloucestershire County Council Trading Standards Service are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accredited Financial Investigator to join our Trading Standards team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in disrupting criminal activity, protecting consumers, and ensuring that those who benefit from illegal trading do not profit from their actions.
 
 
About You
As an experienced Accredited Financial Investigator, you will lead complex financial investigations under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) and other relevant legislation, working closely with colleagues in Trading Standards and other partner agencies to trace, restrain, and confiscate criminal assets. You will also use your experience of cash seizure and forfeiture to disrupt criminal behaviours and directly support the delivery of safer communities and a fair trading environment.
