About The Role
The Asset Management and Property Services team manages the Gloucestershire County Council estate. We are an established Property Services and Estates Management team who take pride in delivering high quality service across the County, including educational establishments, to ensure we have a fully compliant estate. We have the knowledge and expertise to advise on legislative, statutory requirements, national guidelines and best practice requirements for property matters.
About You
We are currently looking for a self motivated, well organised and experienced Facilities Management Contracts Manager to work as part of our Asset Management and Property Services team based in Shire Hall, Gloucester.
Your excellent Facilities Management experience and contract management skills will enable you to provide effective contract support to Gloucestershire County Council’s contractors and monitor compliance of over 100 buildings across the county, ensuring that all requirements of the frameworks, KPI’s and specifications are met through regular checks and liaison meetings with contractors and GCC property staff.
Your excellent communication skills will help you to establish and maintain dialogue with Heads of establishments and/or their nominated representatives through contact and discussions and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors through regular meetings and discussions. You will also be able to provide day to day support for the GCC’s Building Helpdesk, including technical advice and reactive maintenance solutions.
Your customer service and complaint handling skills will enable you to investigate complaints received regarding to the provision of any service contract and agree any deduction from the contract for non-compliance.
You will also have the skills required to identify performance and training gaps with contractors and provide effective solutions.
You will also be required to assist in the preparation of tender documents for service contracts.
