About the team/role

We are recruiting a permanent full-time Early Years and Childcare Business Support Officer.

The Early Years & Childcare Business team support the Local Authority duty to ensure there is sufficient high quality, sustainable early years and childcare provision across Gloucestershire. The Business Support Officer role is a critical element of the team; developing and maintaining systems to collate data relating to the provision of childcare to identify areas where expansion of provision is required. The postholer will also work with the council's early years funding team to distribute funding to childcare providers.

 

About You

We are looking for applicants with a proven track record of success working in a data and/or finance related role. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the early years/childcare sector, experience of developing and maintaining data sytems and be able to use data to inform regular monitoring reports.
