About the Team and Role
Join our dynamic Early Years and Childcare Business Team, where we play a pivotal role in supporting the Local Authority duty to ensure high-quality childcare provision across the county. Our team collaborates with a diverse range of local providers to develop and implement compliant and sustainable business models. This ensures every child can access their entitlement to funded early education and childcare opportunities, fostering both child development and parental employment.
In response to the expansion of funded childcare entitlements and the introduction of the Wraparound Childcare Programme, we are thrilled to add an additional Business Officer to our team. This role is crucial in helping us meet the growing demand and continue to provide exceptional support to our providers.
About You
Are you passionate about childcare and ready to make a difference? We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in delivering childcare provision or supporting the childcare sector. You should possess a deep understanding of the business challenges within the childcare sector, including financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Your solution-focused mindset will be key in helping providers navigate and overcome these challenges.
Excellent organisational skills are essential, as you will need to manage multiple priorities and ensure our service levels are consistently maintained.
A customer-focused approach is vital, as you will be building and maintaining strong relationships with our stakeholders, including childcare providers, parents, and schools. Your communication skills will enable you to effectively convey complex information and provide clear guidance and support.
