About the team/role

We are a dedicated and professional assurance provider delivering Internal Audit, Risk Management and Counter Fraud services to public sector bodies in the Gloucester area; we need a self-motivated individual with a positive approach and willingness to contribute towards our excellent reputation for providing respected Internal Audit, Counter Fraud and wider assurance services to our partners.

 

The role will give you the opportunity to make a real difference by undertaking proactive and reactive fraud activities, including investigations and providing advice on processes, policies and fraud risk management to senior managers.  

 

Our Shared Service team are professional and supportive. We are also keen for team members to achieve continuing professional development (CPD) requirements, career progression and satisfaction via further training opportunities.

 

About you

You will need to be an experienced Internal Auditor who is naturally inquisitive and enjoy thinking laterally and creatively to research and investigate any aspect of fraud.   

 

We will support and develop you and your skills, but as an innovative individual you will demonstrate excellent team working skills, be personally resilient and be able to build positive business relationships.

 

You may already have an understanding of risk management, internal audit or counter fraud – and this could be an advantage.
