About the Team & Role
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS) are looking for individuals, who are passionate and committed to help improving outcomes for the Communities for Gloucestershire who are vulnerable and at serious risk from fire.
As a Community Safety Advisor you will be required to arrange and deliver Safe and Well visits to residents in their own homes to provide fire safety equipment and advise where necessary.
You will be required to provide early intervention and prevention activities on health and wellbeing priorities, positively contributing to the development and delivery of these services.
About You
To be successful you will need to have an interest in delivering our Fire Safety message and have an understanding of community safety-related issues. The ideal candidate will be able to embrace new methods of work and technology and will have the ability to be self-motivated, determined, enthusiastic and resilient with excellent attention to detail.
In addition to the above listed criteria, the successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Understanding of partnership working
- Knowledge of Community Safety legislation
- An understanding of Safeguarding processes
- Full UK Driving License
