About the team and the role
Come and work for a rewarding organisation, joining our exceptional talent in the Environment and Waste team who are working to improve sustainability and nature recovery within Gloucestershire by addressing our climate emergency.
You will work closely with existing networks in Gloucestershire to promote biodiversity conservation and support schemes to reverse the loss of habitats and species. This will include implementing and monitoring multiple projects and programmes delivered in partnership with other strategic stakeholders as well as community-led initiatives.
About you
To be successful you will be passionate and knowledgeable about UK biodiversity and wider environmental and sustainability issues. You will have good awareness of the planning system, agriculture, water management, transport and recreation alongside relevant environmental legislation. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively communicate, engage and influence a variety of stakeholders.
This is a 2-year fixed term post from start of employment.
