About The Team & Role  

 

The Asset Management and Property Services team (AMPS) manages the Gloucestershire County Council estate.  We are an established Property Services and Estates Management team who take pride in delivering high quality service across the County, including educational establishments, to ensure we have a fully compliant estate. We have the knowledge and expertise to advise on legislative, statutory requirements, national guidelines and best practice requirements for property matters.

About You  

 

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, professional and experienced Capital Project Manager, to deliver building/construction projects with devolved responsibilities in relation to delivery of the capital programme through our Contractor Framework   

  

Your communication and customer-focussed skills will help you to be the key contact for clients and contractors in relation to projects and ensure effective communication with all relevant parties. 

 

Your previous building/construction project management experience will enable you to deliver projects on time, within budget, with minimum defects and to customer satisfaction. 

 

Your up-to-date building-related industry practice, will help you to develop and implement innovative solutions, particularly those designed to deliver value for money.

Working with the Projects Team in our Asset Management and Property Services team, delivering effective project management to a variety of clients, on projects of a ranging scale. This will involve technical support and feasibility work, along with efficient management and procurement of work from consultants and contractors.
