Corporate Parenting Project Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join Gloucestershire County Council as a Corporate Parenting Project Manager (fixed term until 31st March 2027, grade 8/9).

About the role

This role will support the implementation of the Corporate Parenting Strategy and its development, which will enable monitoring of outcome-based targets for children and young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery of multiple projects aligned to the strategy, from conception to their completion.

You will join the Children’s Service Programme and Project team based at Shire Hall in Gloucester, working as part of an agile working offer. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a supportive, passionate and well-respected experienced team.

You are hands-on, flexible, and detail oriented. You can work to deadlines and deliver collaboratively. You have the skills and experience to manage strategic projects and drive improvements in outcomes.
