About The Team & Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Improvement Officer to join Legal Services.  This post will focus on improving the ways which we work to consistently improve the efficiency of our service delivery to our client service areas.  As such, the work you will be carrying out will not only be pivotal to Legal Services but also invaluable to all Service Areas in Gloucestershire County Council.  In return you will part of a team that actively encourages career development opportunities should that be something of interest or importance to you.

  1. Lead on numerous projects, manage IT systems and create suitable training materials, guidance notes and manuals as well as being the communication lead for the department.
  2. Effectively manage, scrutinise and improve the processes in place for an effective legal services delivery; and
  3. enjoy a flexible way of working.

 

About You

You shall be working in a high pressured demand led department.  You will need you to have excellent organisational and time management skills to allow you to prioritise emerging issues, some of which can be conflicting priorities.  We also need you to have detailed IT skills and be able to analyse and scrutinise processes and procedures, both IT based and practical. This is an autonomous role so we would also require you to have excellent quick thinking problem solving skills
