About the role: 

 

We have a new administrator role in our Adult Social Care Financial Assessments and Benefits Team. Our role is an important part of supporting the care sector as we work with people receiving a service and their families to ensure they are fairly assessed and pay what is needed for the care they and their loved ones receive. 

 

The role is being offered on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract and is based at Shire Hall in Gloucester.

About you: 

 

You will already have some experience of administration and working on the telephone, taking calls from members of the public, supporting with queries such as invoice charges for their care, but we will provide training and support to ensure you gain confidence in these key areas. 

 

You will have IT skills as well as English and Maths GCSE Grade C / Grade 4 (or equivalent) and ideally an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent experience). Whilst administration skills are important, perhaps more importantly we want team members who reflect our values of respect, integrity and excellence when working for the individuals we support and providing excellent customer service. 

 

In return we provide a supportive workplace where you will receive training and regular formal and informal support. We offer flexible working with a mix of office and home working – there would be a need to be in the office for two days a week.
