About the role
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to support the delivery of the Household Support Fund across Gloucestershire. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery which provides vital assistance to residents facing financial hardship. You will support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including:
- Managing and processing applications for support.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Responding to enquiries from residents and partner organisations.
- Assisting with reporting and compliance requirements.
- Assisting with payments of vouchers
- Handling incoming calls
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Is confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications, including MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Can work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high-quality service.
Experience in administration within a public sector or community-focused environment is desirable but not essential.

It is expected that this role will be based predominantly in Shire Hall at 4 days per week with 1 day per week working from home.
