About the role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and undertake a full timeLevel 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. The role will support our administration team who provide a comprehensive administrative service in our Cotswolds Adult Social Care Team, based in Cirencester.

 

You will be part of an experienced, friendly and supportive team where you will learn on the job from your supervisor and other team members, alongside spending 20% of your time studying.

 

The role will involve a wide range of administrative duties including:

  • producing documents including letters and reports using several IT and Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
  • accurately inputting and monitoring records and data onto relevant systems.
  • dealing with queries from members of the public and internal colleagues by telephone, email and in person, providing a high level of customer service.
  • facilitating meetings such as room bookings, sending invites, producing agendas and taking minutes.

 

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will work towards obtaining your Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. This is an 18-month apprenticeship, and you will be fully supported throughout this time by your manager and Gloucestershire County Council’s Apprenticeship and Adult Education Teams.

 

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the role is expected to become a permanent Team Administrator position within the team.

About you:


We are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic, with good communication and organisational skills.

 

You do not need to have any previous experience of working in an office environment, but we would like you to be able to evidence how you have successfully worked in a team.

 

An ability to use IT systems, with experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is beneficial. You will be taking calls from internal colleagues as well as members of the public, so a professional telephone manner is a must.
