About the Team and Role
We are looking to recruit a Team Administrator to support the Gloucestershire North (Cheltenham and Tewkesbury) Children and Families Teams. These teams work within Gloucestershire County Council’s Children’s Services, with a focus on Children in Care, Children in Need and Child Protection. We have 10 Social Care Teams across the 2 sites, comprising of Social Workers, who support Children, Families and Young People from various stages of their lives, through to Independence. This role is based in Cheltenham, however as the service is connected across both sites, this role may also include some requirement to work in our Tewkesbury office.
Your role would be to support the teams with a variety of administrative tasks, process financial documents to ensure our children, families and young people receive the necessary funding as required, whilst providing good customer service in person and on the telephone. Duties will include: -

Dealing with telephone enquiries, taking messages and alerting Social Work staff

Preparing documents using Microsoft Word

Updating spreadsheets using Excel

Booking meetings using Microsoft Teams and our internal room booking system

Processing finance requests using SAP

Uploading documents to our bespoke database Liquid Logic (training will be provided)

We are looking for applicants who would like to join our Social Care admin team, where the work is varied, and interesting, no two days are the same!
