About the Role

We are looking to recruit two additional team administrators, one to support the Cheltenham Permanency Teams located in Grosvenor Hall in Cheltenham where the focus is on Children in Care and Care Leavers, and one to support the Children & Families Teams in Edinburgh House, Cheltenham where the focus is on Children in Care, Children in Need and Child Protection.  Both teams work within Gloucestershire County Council’s Children’s Services.

Your role would be to support the teams with a variety of administrative tasks, process financial documents to ensure children, young people and their families receive the necessary funding as required, whilst providing good customer service in person and on the telephone.  Duties will include: -

  • Providing a high-quality comprehensive administration support to the teams
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries, taking messages and alerting social work staff
  • Greeting visitors and Young People to the building and signposting on to relevant professional
  • Preparing documents using Microsoft Word
  • Updating spreadsheets using Excel
  • Booking meetings using Microsoft Teams and our internal room booking system
  • Processing finance requests
  • Uploading documents to our bespoke database Liquid Logic (training will be provided)

 

 

About You
