About the Team and Role

The Youth Support Team has a number of diverse teams that support vulnerable children and young people and we are looking to recruit an additional administrator to support a variety of administrative tasks. 

The office base is Whaddon Youth Centre, Dart Road, Cheltenham with a requirement to travel to other locations in the county to support other teams or attend training when required.  Hours and days will be discussed during the recruitment process but likely to be in the region of 30-37 hours per week with an expectation that at least 50% of time is office-based.  Duties will include:

  • Minute taking highly confidential and sensitive meetings
  • Collating information prior to meetings
  • Distributing minutes via secure email
  • Updating client databases and data checks
  • Updating tracking spreadsheets using Excel
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries, taking messages and signposting to relevant teams/organisations
  • Providing a good customer service

 

About You 

We are looking for applicants who have excellent organisation and minute taking skills and an understanding of working in a confidential office environment.  You will have strong IT and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach with an ability to manage your workload to meet deadlines.  You will be working with colleagues at different levels across organisation.
