About the role

 

We are looking for 2 Senior Cooks at 24.5hrs a week, on a 4 day on and 4 day off permanent basis for up to 30 residents per day.

 

You will contribute by providing nutrition and hydration of individuals within the rehabilitation service, delivering a high-quality service for the provision of meals all year round. Creating meals to meet eating and drinking guidelines and individual’s specific dietary requirements and needs, updating menus accordingly.

About the you

 

You will familiarise yourself and build rapport with individuals and liaise with the team at Great Western Court to ensure continuity of service delivery. You will be required to monitor and ensure stocks are rotated, to order food supplies and keep waste to a minimum.

 

You will be responsible for maintaining daily records and follow the Health and Safety standards. An ability to hit the ground running would be beneficial, however training will be provided.

 

You’ll join us on a shift basis, which will include weekend working as required. We are happy to discuss your requirements around weekend working at interview. You will be eligible to claim for enhanced payments for weekend working.

 

Please note that you must be flexible enough to help out at other locations.
