Please note: this is a two year apprenticeship and you will be guaranteed an interview for a permanent Team Administrator role within the team, should you successfully complete the apprenticeship.




About the role:


We are looking for someone to undertake a full time, Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship to provide effective clerical and administrative support to the Adult Social Care Service in the Forest of Dean.


Under the direction of your appointed supervisor/mentor/other team members, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive, administration support service to the wider Adult Social Care team and work towards meeting the needs of the wider community.


As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will also work towards obtaining your Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration, by attending learning sessions provided in small groups or one to one with a tutor, at the premises of a learning provider, a college or in the workplace.

About you:

We are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic, with good communication and organisational skills.


You do not require any previous experience of working in an office environment, but we would like you to be able to evidence how you have successfully worked in a team.


An ability to use IT systems, with experience of using Microsoft packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) is beneficial and you will be taking calls from internal colleagues as well as members of the public, so a professional telephone manner is a must.


If you are proactive, enjoy working within a team and are looking to develop your administration skills with support from a well-established team, then this could be the ideal role for you.
